FREE|2026 NOYIFF Awards Ceremony & Short film Screenings

NOYIFF (New Order Youth International Film Festival)

One afternoon.
One cinema.
A whole world of short films.

On 17 October, NOYIFF takes over The Capitol Cinema, Auckland for an afternoon of global cinema, awards, filmmakers, and some of the standout short films from this year’s competition.

Think of it as a big-screen binge of award-winning and internationally recognised short films — stories from different countries, different cultures, and completely different cinematic worlds, all packed into one afternoon.

🏆 20+ awards will be presented across four competition sections, celebrating emerging filmmakers, directors, performers and new voices in cinema from around the world.

Alongside the official NOYIFF ceremony and award presentations, audiences will also get to watch a curated selection of standout films from this year’s Main Competition, including award-winning and nominated shorts chosen from our international programme.

So even if awards ceremonies aren’t usually your thing — come for the films.

Watch something you probably wouldn’t find in your usual feed.
See international short cinema on a proper big screen.
Meet filmmakers and people who genuinely care about movies.

And stay to find out which films take home NOYIFF 2026.
